The Lion and Unicorn is a traditional family owned country house hotel tucked away just outside Stirling. It is thriving with a locally well used restaurant and activity filled bar, with a great reputation for good food. For the homely touch, there is 3 log burning fires, including a huge 1635 open fireplace in one of the dining rooms. The Lion and Unicorn is the perfect place to spend a few days soaking up the true Scottish hospitality that we all want to discover. Full of friendly locals, it is one of the few Free Houses left in Scotland, with reasonable prices on beer. If you are tempted to pass by even just to try the food, it is advisable to book at the weekends in order to avoid disappointment.
There are 4 rooms available to guests: 2 doubles, 1
twin and 1 single. All the rooms are en-suite and have been
completely refurbished to an excellent standard. There is a
television, tea/coffee making facilities and trouser press in all
rooms for the comfort of guests.
Guests are also welcome to use all the facilities including the

available off road. A night porter is on duty 7 days per week after
the bar and restaurant have closed.
